I'm not sure, but I think it might have been permanently deleted by the Magento log rotation cron.

D all the way, baby! Archiving to the database is the way Magento rolls. Unless, of course, you're dealing with a misbehaving cron job. Then all bets are off.

I'm pretty sure the answer is D. The default Magento log rotation cron would have archived the data in the magento_logging_event_archive table by now.
