Captcha? Really? What is this, the 90s? Email verification is the way to go. Plus, it's just a lot more user-friendly than all those other options.

C is definitely the way to go. Who wants to deal with a captcha every time they register? And admin-only registration? That's just asking for trouble. Email verification is the way to go, hands down.

Hmm, I'm not sure. Disabling the login block might be a bit extreme, and making it admin-only could be overkill. I think C is the most elegant solution to this problem.
